About the Author
Suzie O’Connell grew up in Western Washington, but a two week adventure at her step-sister’s rustic Montana cabin left a permanent mark, and she has called the mountains and valleys of Southwestern Montana home ever since. She has been writing stories for as long as she can remember, and writes even when she’s not writing. Everything around her is story fodder. Her love of writing and of Montana pushed her to pursue (and earn) a Bachelor of Arts in Literature and Writing from the University of Montana-Western. She now teaches high school English. When she isn’t writing or teaching, Suzie enjoys spending time in the mountains with her husband Mark, their daughter Maddie and their golden retriever Reilly. She is almost as happy with a camera in her hand or helping her husband build log furniture as she is writing, and will readily jump on any excuse to enjoy the beauty of Montana. Awesome second book

I can't wait until the next one if it is anywhere near as good as this one I won't be disappointed. June and Ben's story was by far the most inspiring story I have read in along time. Ben wasn't healing from a tragic situation that made him give up the job he loved and lose touch with his best friend. June doesn't know it but she has someone after her who doesn't like her adopted son Luke. Ben returns home and him and June find something that has been missing all along for both of them, but will past problems keep them from each other or bring them together. You must read this book. It's both beautiful ans captivating, you will be flipping the pages just to find out how it ends.

I have enjoyed these books so far. I feel like I have actually been to Montana the author is so descriptive of the area. I really need to go there now! I have fallen in love with the characters of these stories they are all so down to earth. I would recommend these books to anyone who likes a good romance along with a family twist. These are not your usual torrid romance stories. I could have my 15 year old granddaughter read these and feel good about it. So if you are looking for wild sex this is not for you...

Jessica Walton lives with her wife, son and cats in Melbourne, Australia. Sweet story about gender identity and acceptance.

I supported this story as a Kickstarter project. I believe it is important to have more stories about gender identity out there for little ones. This story is perfect to share with that younger audience. It is a sweet story that is beautifully illustrated . I would recommend this not only for families who perhaps have a transgender member but also for all kids to show how wonderful it is to accept folks as they present themselves.

I love this book. At a time when we still see so much ignorance and such a lack of compassion for others - specifically people who are transgender, or anything other than hetero - this is a lovely and necessary book for children.

Great book, my 4 year old loves it. I think the art style is super cute. It is important to me that my son is exposed to all different types of people as he grows up. Since we don't have any trans folks in our lives, I think books like this are important.

Tells it straight!

Bill Phillips has come out with an informative book that tells you practically everything there is to know about the use and abuse of steroids. He tells you how the body reacts to steroids, is accurate in his drug profiles and discusses possible side effects. The only thing that i dislike about the book is the amounts of steroids in the cycles he describes. I've fooled with steroids for years and although I don't have a 280 lbs physique it's still pretty good. I never in my steroid days had to take the amount of drugs described in this book. I was 235 lbs at my heaviest with 7% bodyfat and neither I or my friends used drugs of that magnitude. I do however recommend it to personal trainers and all coaches and last but not least to those thinking about using any ergogenic drugs. I rate it a 9 out of a possible 10.

Everything you could want to know about Word 2013 and more

This book is a comprehensive reference book, with plenty of exercises to get you fully familiarized with all Word 2013 can do. I usually sell my textbooks after the semester, but I am keeping this one for reference because there are so many things Word can do that you don't use every day, but may need to do SOME day. The text is beautifully laid out in color, well organized, and very well edited. I wish the book had come as a binder book instead of a spiral-bound book. That is the only thing I don't like however. Plenty of bang for your buck here.

Since you are reading this review, it means you are looking for a better understanding of Modbus and wish to know if this book would help in that endeavor. How often do you get to have decades of ModBus experience handed to you? Buy the book.
One can tell it is hands on experience. I can tell John has spent many a day in the field with his breakout analyzers saying, 'so you say this is the packet you are sending, now here is what you are really sending'. Been there, done that. After you read his , you too would be able to do that. Buy the book.
For Industrial Automation personnel, there is a reason ModBus is still around. Nice simple protocol. You will run into it sooner or later, just about anywhere in the world. This bound of paper John wrote will help you immensely. Buy the book.

This book is a great resource for designers, engineers, and technicians in the automation field since Modbus is used throughout the world and understanding how to apply it is important for any person involved in the automation industry. The author describes the Modbus communications protocol in easy to understand terms and this is why I will wrote the forward for this book. Modbus is used in a wide range of applications including industrial automation, process control, building automation, transportation, energy, and remote monitoring. Virtually any type of sensor and controller devices can be found that incorporates Modbus networking including programmable logic controllers (PLC), process controllers, process instruments, process sensors, PID controllers, motor drives, energy meters, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, programmable automation controllers (PAC), discrete sensors, valves, and many other embedded devices.

He formerly taught at the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn and was visiting professor in the computer science department of Brooklyn College. If you are a good researcher, this is a good resource!

If you are taking an introductory Topology course, I recommend using this book. It is a little old, and some of the problems are not solved, but it will offer you an advantage when using your class text. You should use Lipschutz's book together with REA's Topology Problem Solver to give you full study advantage when taking on this most difficult subject. With some moderate study, you should do better on your assignements!

A gem among the Schaum's series; all editions are the same, however

I think the Schaum's Outline Series does a real service to students of science and mathematics, but the quality varies a bit from book to book. I find it fascinating that this one--not updated since 1965 despite a new cover and more accurate tally of the number of solved problems, and dealing with an abstract subject that would seem to have a very limited readership--is so well done. It covers most of the first half of Munkres' famous book, or nearly all of Sutherland's newer Introduction to Metric and Topological Spaces, with many more examples and solved problems than either. It is extremely user friendly, and each chapter reads well though, given the abstraction of the topic, I found it best to read each chapter two or three times before working the problems. The first three review chapters were a bit dull, but then it takes off with a nice review of real analysis in chapter 4, "Topology of the Line and Plane." I liked the Hilbert Space coverage in Chapter 8,"Metric and Normed Spaces," but wish there was a bit more on that subject.
I am using this for home study some 25 years after dropping topology in college (ironically Munkres was my advisor and teacher!) because I didn't quite yet have the mathematical maturity to take the course. Had I only discovered this book back then, and worked through Chapters 5 - 10 the summer before, I think the course would have been no problem. A great little book, and cheap.

Great resource for college-level math students...

I wish I had known about this summary when I was taking my Fundamental Concepts in Math course at the university. I would have done a lot better! I agree with the previous reviewer about adding REA's Problem Solver book for a complete set.

The topics covered include: (1) Sets and relations, (2) Functions, (3) Cardinality and Order, (4) Topology of the line and plane, (5) Topological Spaces, (6) Bases and Subbases [sic], (7) Continuity and topological equivalence, (7) Metric and normed spaces, (8)Countability, (10) Separation axioms, (11) Compactness, (12) Product spaces, (13) Connectedness, (14) Complete metric spaces, and (15) Function spaces. There is an appendix about Properties of real numbers.

This is a technical book and not for a casual reader. I believe this will be difficult for a teach-yourself-to-know reader, unless the reader has considerable math experience.

Another book that I found helpful in Fundamental Concepts (not simply Topology) was Courant et al., What is mathematics? 2nd ed.

My Fundamental Concepts professor taught the course with only lecture notes, and I was completely lost. Had I had this outline, I think I would have done better, because this Outline has a number of solved problems and exercises.
