Arrived exactly as described

The book, Tionesta Valley Railroad by Walter Cassler, arrived well packaged and in the time frame predicted. The condition was exactly as described and as I would have expected for a well cared for publication of it's age especially given that it has been out of print for some time. There is a little rust on the staples in the binding and a slightly musty smell, but it is otherwise in near perfect condition as far as I can determine.

I have been searching for it for some time and am very happy to have finally found it in such good condition.

All thirteen of these books are excellent historical reference to the logging railroads in PA during the 1800's and early 1900's. Lots of detailed black and white pictures and in-depth information about the railroad operations during the time period. Hopefully they reprint these soon or a lot of valuable history could be lost.

About the Author

Khalid A. Mughal is an associate professor at the Department of Informatics, University of Bergen, Norway. During his extensive career, he has designed and implemented many courses on Java, object-oriented system development, web application development, software security, and compiler techniques. He has also given seminars for the IT industry. He is the principal author of two programming books on Java.

 

Rolf W. Rasmussen is a system development manager at Vizrt, a company that develops real-time graphics systems for broadcast media. Previously he worked on clean-room implementations of the Java class libraries. He is a coauthor of two programming books on Java.
